Unless you get a date from ED themselfes, all other dates should be considered speculation.

SimWare have displayed a date for Black Shark for about 2 years, and keep changing the date as it gets near.

 

It's possible the system they have set up requires a date to be entered, so they just keep changing it as needed.

The fact that they keep changing should have already hinted people that the release date could anytime 2008 or 2009. Dont get your hopes too high.

They said they were optimistic for sometime late in 2007, but the possibility that it would run into 2008 was always there.

gawd, I'll be done with school and living on my own before they make a fighter for DCS. :(:lol:

This is what I figure: 2009 (Release of BS) + 1 year for Apache +1 year for A-10 + 1 year for which ever fighter ED choses + 3 years of delays (one for each aircraft) = 2016

By that time, computers will have advanced so that DCS will be for low end systems and no one would buy it because "who wants to play a low end game?"
