Eurofighter Typhoon: Pictures and Videos

Awsome pictures. Where you part of the Laage crew that participated in the 2004 SIPT flying out of Manching. If i recall correctly this was a 6 month phase prior the first planes departing to Laage.

Love the pictures from Neuburg. I nearly have tears of joy in my eyes when i see the rolling lines in front of the shelters. During my time as an officer in the SUZ, couple of weeks prior delivery, it became obviouse that the F4 rolling lines wont fit. So i got my first big task as a young lieutenant to construct this lines to have them painted in front of the shelters. :D:D:D an artwork for eternity :megalol:

Cheers

Concerning Laage, unfortunately I wasn't part of this. I was just a member of the PIO team of the Luftwaffe in those days. The Laage pictures were taken during a TV filming about the EF pilots training for the German news broadcasting station N24 in May 2005

The Neuburg pics were taken, if I remember right, in 2006 prior to the official public fly-in event, introducing the EF operational in the QRA role, replacing the good old F-4s. I will check If I have some pictures of that event, too. But as I was in charge for the press event durng this I didn't had much chance to take pictures on my own.

rather can't wait to get my hands on this bird in DCS (made my first steps using a PC at all with TFX instead of the AMIGA computers I had in those ancient days):pilotfly:

  • 2 weeks later...

The EF is easily the second best looking of the Euro-Canards. That's fine, since there really isn't anything in the sky anywhere close to as beautiful as the Rafale.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

INCIDENTE EUROFIGHTER

ITALY TERRACINA

its very difficoult drive eurofighter to low speed and to low altitude is very dangerous because eurofighter is projected to hight speed and hight manouver.look this situation

anoother strange eurofighter incident

from all these accidents I deduce that the Eurofighter is a high-speed plane.

the eurofighter is not an airplane designed for low performance and low altitude maneuvers you should be an expert pilot to fly a low speed eurofighter is very difficult.

if you look closely at the tight maneuvers of a Eurofighter you will notice that there are moments that the plane seems to be no longer controlled by the pilot but to go away on his own. especially when you do those long crosses in the air. to note especially I say to the developers the strange condensation fumes on the wings and the shape of the fumes coming out from the edge of the wings. another strange thing that I notice in the Eurofighter and that never manages to stay completely level and strangely always has its muzzle raised in flight. yes yes the tip of the nose is always up, never that I see it leveled sepcially in low maneuvered mode.

note in this video the 360 ° maneuver made at low altitude on the sea.

I will point out these two eurofighters that intercept this civil plane, you can note that the civil plane has a straight and level nose while the 2 eurofighters have a nose up and are not level.

I assume that if you want to see the nose of the leveled Eurofighter you have to have much higher speeds than what we sell in the video.

Dang guys, these suckers are expensive! Stop crashing 'em all the time!

That's what DCS is for :)
