Server password

How do you password a server ? not myself ---i'm puzzled ..

When you set up a server from lomac network screen, you can specify a password there when hosting.

Passing throught HL.. seting pass from network wont work after this.. weird

 

With HL you have to stop load Pass and restart but wont work after..

Let the people who you give the password know the direct IP adress? :) Or use closed mission in HL, but i assume that everyone must join as the session is started, and cannot join anymore as the session is already running.
