Curious with all the detail for the launch sequence, do you have plans to add the deckcrew memeber who holds up the weight board when taxing onto the CAT? The weight value is known by the jet in DCS (e.g. Hornet checklist page), so it could be known to the deckcrew AI and shown for fidelity. Thoughts? I remember years ago a vid showing some digital boards being tested on one of the boats. I wonder if any got implemented on any carriers, possibly something completely different? Anyone knows? You must know you aircraft weight. The board shows what data the cat controller has used to set the cat. If the weights do not agree you are in for an early bath. Or wait, better yet... Maybe that's a random failure that can happen. They show you the wrong weight and you don't catch it and you get a soft cat shot.
