MUSKrat Posted April 11, 2020 Share Posted April 11, 2020 (edited) Joint Task Force 13 is a not for profit DCS group that came together in late July of 2019. We currently have six squadrons: VMFA(AW)-224 "Fighting Bengals" and VF-151 "Vigilantes" flying the F/A-18C, VF-103 "Jolly Rogers" flying the F-14B, the 93rd FS "Makos" flying the F-16C, and VMA-311 "Tomcats" in the AV-8B Harrier. Our newest squadron is the 163rd "Blacksnakes" flying the legendary A-10C. JTF is a multinational group and while currently we operate under US squadrons our hope is to expand to include our brothers from across the pond. We are actively looking to form a euro squadron and seeking anyone interested in helping form it. If you have a group of virtual pilots and would like to join as a unit flying a specific airframe a new squadron can be formed around your group. JTF-13 is not a strict mil-sim group, but more of a collaborative team. We do not have mandatory flights, or expect everyone to join our campaigns, but we do hope for active participation and ask that our pilots show interest in flying with a group. We have many members with various skill sets who support JTF-13 through leadership and teaching. Many of our pilots have real life experience including civilian and military aviation. Because of this, our instructor pilots provide full training on the aircraft listed above. All you have to do is ask! If you are new to flight sims or DCS, you will feel right at home here with our friendly members. Little update: We have now formed an A10C squadron modeled after the 163rd FS "Blacksnakes" Their numbers have already exploded and they are currently getting their roster filled out with new pilots. We also are still looking for more EU pilots to stand up a coalition F16 squadron. If interested in helping form that group or just be a part of it please apply and mention it in your application!
