VRAM usage after 2.5.6.47224

Recommended Posts

As soon as I load a mission or multiplayer server my VRAM usage spikes to 100% and I get terrible FPS. I rolled back my video card drivers just to check if the latest nvidia drivers were causing a problem but rolling them back to 442.74 had no effect.

this is well documented about poor performance for some time about 2.5.6 .the best you can do is the best you can do.. if you have changed the settings and nothing changed all I can tell you is try Release..

having terrain textures on high only increases the vram usage by turning it down should help with not much difference in looks.. msaa is on 4 you are asking alot of your system at that res to begin with..

Maybe try and remove mods and do a repair, also before repair did you delete the FXO and Metashaders2 files folders then repair cleanup?

I realized I had an old chipset driver interfering with my current chipset driver. After a Windows repair DCS is still maxing out my vram but is running as it should. Getting 50 fps online and 70+ in singleplayer
