Manuel_108
Hi there Deka! As soon as I press the lights test, the fps drop significantly. Everything gets very stuttery. The problem resolves as soon as I let go of the lights test.fps.trk
Manuel_108
Also, during startup the fps are very noticeably worse with a few lights showing on the warning panel. This was not a problem before 2.5.6, I think it has to do with the new glowing light effects or something.
paco2002
It has to do with ED new lighting effects, they kill FPS like nothing on the sim, you can try it with the C101 (But it's just a couple of FPS)
Manuel_108
Ah yes, I figured. They are also way too strong right now and have a weird glow to them. Guess we‘ll have to wait for ED.
Cueball
Has anyone notice a massive fps drop when activating A2G radar. If you Freeze or Silent it the fps return to normal. Once you let it scan its game over.

Once you let it scan its game over. AG radar is based on ED's API, it do eat FPS, especially when your are turning, and new terrain need to be rendered. ED has optimized the API serval times, it is much better than when it is released.:D Deka Ironwork Tester Team
Cueball
I never had this issue since the release of the JF17. It only just started in this latest update. At least for me.
