Odin386
Hi all. I was wondering, is it possible to run DCS in standard mode using the computer display instead of the Oculus?

uri_ba
I assume you have an oculus and it launches it with it automatically? You can either add a flag (i dont remember which) to disable VR. Or.ypu can try and use Skillzilla's launcher. It has VR off button.. Fri13
Just create a new shortcut to DCs.exe with VR disabled. Easiest and simplest way. Then you can swap between desktop and VR mode just with shortcut. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K. Mustang
You can also edit your options.lua (in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config) and set on line 6 ["enable"] = false,
zaelu
Yeah but having two shortcuts to switch at the start is easier. I used to simply start in VR, untick the VR on in VR options... restart... go about my business in ME. Odin386
Yes, I have the Oculus rift s, but I could learn the software a lot faster if I could operate some things in standard mode ( mission editor for example)
