Gaspy Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Is it possible to transfer a mark point (OFLY or DSG) to a wingman via datalink?
Kup Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Is it possible to transfer a mark point (OFLY or DSG) to a wingman via datalink? Hi, that would be great. Jf-17, AV-8B N/A, F-16
Mustang25 Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 It would be great also if we had the ability to share waypoints and pre-planned points like the Viggen does with the data cartridge.
amalahama Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 That's the kind of functionality I would expect from AG Datalink (also transmitting SPI)
Babok Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 a10 can do this and is kinda old, i would expect a recent aircraft like jeff could also do it.
kreisch Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 a10 can do this and is kinda old, i would expect a recent aircraft like jeff could also do it. Just a tip especially for the sim environment - do not expect, do not assume - try to find information. Example? Would you think the current F15-C, the top notch Air to Air fighter is still not using color-displays? Just go and check it ;) So the question is - is documentation available describing it? Matchstick Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 a10 can do this and is kinda old, i would expect a recent aircraft like jeff could also do it. The Jeff may be newer but it's was also created to a really tight budget - it's why it only has FBW in the pitch axis and you have to choose between DL and the second radio channel. If the PAF didn't decided it was a feature they wanted to pay for then the chances are it won't be there.
