[RESOLVED]dedicated server 2.5.6.47404 won't launch

This evening's update to my DCS open beta server will not launch.

 

 

 

All I see is a blank white window where the DCS logo usually gets displayed.

 

My Local WEB GUI claims the server is unresponsive.

 

Skatezilla's DCS Updater Utility was used to run multiple repairs to no effect.

 

 

I had similar problems after last week's open beta update, but the problem eventually cleared up after a couple restarts.

 

 

 

Not with this update, DCS dedicated server appears to be completely broken.

 

 

 

Please let me know if I can provide more information (log attached).

Try a fresh saved games dcs folder for your server, try to rule out a settings or config error.

Forcing the application to create a new DCS.openbeta_server in my Saved Games folder seems to work. The splash screen is still blank, but I can connect in the Web GUI and connect over MP.

What are the steps (procedure) to getting DCS to create a new DCS.openbeta_server? Nevermind, figured it out - simply remove the 'DCS.openbeta_' folder. A new one is created.

 

However, DCS server is still not responsive. Server used to work for quite some time; now it will not.

I have to go back to running a server via regular DCS.

I found it how to force DCS to create a new folder.
