As title really.

I was running through a series of HARTS last night with a VFW buddy and we both noticed that the horn did not sound - so ARTS more thank HARTS :megalol:

Just thought I would post in case it was a bug, but I suspect this simply has not been got round to in the dev of the jet atm.

Horn is definitely there, not sure if modeled correctly though as it doesn't sound per HARTS parameters.

The F-16 has no stall warning. The warning tone in question is officially the low speed warning tone (LSWT) and these are the activation conditions.

  • LG handle down or ALT FLAPS extend

  1. AOA >= 15°

  • LG handle up and ALT FLAPS norm
  • Airspeed and pitch angle

  1. 100 KIAS (tolerance -25, +35) at pitch 45°

  2. 200 KIAS (tolerance -15, +20) at pitch 90°

  3. Airspeed condition (and tolerance) linear between pitch 45-90°

  4. Symmetrical for pitch 90-135° (e.g."roll angle invariant")

Notes

  • No warning provided for attitudes less than 45° above the horizon including all negative pitch attitudes.
  • LSWT has priority over LG warning tone
  • Can be silenced by the horn silencer button
  • Tone does not sound again until condition eliminated and reentered
  • Is activated by TFR when operating under certain conditions
  • Is not tested by the MAL & IND LTS test button
