giullep
Hi guys, I dont remember how can view the landing path after i be on the Deck (i remember a graphic ...)
electricaltill
It's on the knee board, Rshift+K. You have to go forward or backward a couple of pages. Sometimes it bugs - if Jester didn't tell you which wire you caught, the kneeboard won't show anything either.

Falby
One thing to bear in mind though is that Ironmike stated in an old post that the colours are total bogus and the groove times are wrong! Although the glide path and line up seem to be fairly accurate.
IronMike
Not total bogus, just that we never finished it, so not everything works as intended. Initially it was just a fun idea during development, nothing planned, but we though, why not leave it in, better than nothing. Groove times are incorrect because they start the moment you get behind the carrier, not when your wings are level, as it should be. The colors however still represent your on speed AOA though, green is on speed, blue is slow and red is fast iirc. yellow iirc means slightly off either way. Falby
What I understood by it being "bogus" was that they didn't correspond to the AoA indexer colours, not that they were inaccurate,ie green is slow on indexer but onspeed on trap sheet.
IronMike
yes indeed, maybe I said it like that haha, cant remember anymore. it's definitely bogus in that sense hehe Heatblur Simulations Please feel free to contact me anytime, either via PM here, on the forums, or via email through the contact form on our homepage. http://www.heatblur.com/ https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
Falby
Actually it makes no difference to me, my trap sheet always seems to have a combination of all four colours anyway!
Mich Mich
Maybe a dumb question here, but how to show the glide path for traping? I don't follow the same path on every landing, rather do it by "instinct" or "feeling"... Which leads to either bolter, successful trap (but Jester talks about bolter...), or crash... sLYFa
Set nav mode to AWL/PCD and make sure Jester sets the Stennis as DL host. There is also the IFLOLS on the carrier. i5-8600k @4.9Ghz, 2080ti , 32GB@2666Mhz, 512GB SSD
IronMike
If you trap and jester calls bolter it means that you came in way too hard, because you skipped wires, or too shallow and too hard, which is even more dangerous. Try to do the case1 tutorial mission and watch some case1 tutorials on youtube, and try to fly by the book and by the numbers. In no (normal) situation is that as important as during a case 1. remember: everyone can land, but not everyone can recover... Although I call bullshit on that. Everyone can recover if he trains a bit, and so can you. Make sure you are on speed while downwind, your dlc, flaps and gear extracted at 600 feet, 450 at the 90° turn towards the groove, around 300 when you enter the groove and then try to fly the ball, on speed all the time. It takes practice, but sooner or later you will get there Heatblur Simulations Please feel free to contact me anytime, either via PM here, on the forums, or via email through the contact form on our homepage. http://www.heatblur.com/ https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
Falby
Don't forget to add a little power before you start the 180 and reduce it before you roll out wings level. I always forgot that and couldn't understand why I was all over the place! Once I got in the habit of doing it things got a lot smoother.

Love the feature and look at it every time I land. Though the latest MP rubberbanding has me doing field landings again (which I probably should practice anyway). I originally thought it was an ED thing and was trying to call it up in the Hornet... and was disappointed. Were you planning something to determine the grade?
