panph90
2070 super with rift S is a great deal. In a future, when game's demands will be higher you could also look for another 2070 super with NV Link. Is my setup at work and works great (we are a render studio, we work in C4d specially for vr product). ___________________________________ DCS 2.5.6 Open Beta - F-18C, F-14B, F-16C, Av-8b, A-10C, Uh-1h, SA-342, Mi-8MTV2, KA-50 Modules Persian Gulf Map, Nevada Training Map ALIENWARE AREA-51 INTEL Intel I9-9940X - Nvidia 2080Ti 11Gb - 32GB RAM - 4TB SSD Oculus Rift S - FULL VIRPIL SETUP: T50CM2 throttle, T50cm2 Base and Grip, ACE2 Rudder

panph90
You running DCS at your studio ? If you're the owner, and i am, you could :lol::lol::lol: Here's our "fire power"... the PC room. This was last year, now we have 1 new more. Every pc have at least 3 GPU, it depends on what a pc is working at. I mostly work on render product or external, so i don't need so much power, my own is 2x 2070super, 1x 980Ti. The guy who works on interior render (with many lighting computation) have 6 vga: 2x2070, 2x1070, 1x2070 super, 1x780 (for the editor view, the other for rendering) It's not the usual render studio... isn't it? Svsmokey
Nice ! panph90
Nice ! But i question your advice regarding DCS VR and NV-link . LOL, i thought you were sarcastic like "are you playing at work?" :megalol: but yes, i play it but not in VR, at work we use Oculus Go and Quest, i have the rift S at home. The 2070 super is the best GPU if you're looking at the ratio Performance/price. As i said, you could buy 1 2070 super now, and i guarrantee you'll be ok with Rift S. In the future, when you'll have greater demands, you can buy another one, connecting them with NV Link. With the NV Link the GPU shares they're RAM and they work syncronized having better graphics performaces. I don't think dcs support SLI, so without NVL you run with 1 GPU even if you have 2. ___________________________________ DCS 2.5.6 Open Beta - F-18C, F-14B, F-16C, Av-8b, A-10C, Uh-1h, SA-342, Mi-8MTV2, KA-50 Modules Persian Gulf Map, Nevada Training Map ALIENWARE AREA-51 INTEL Intel I9-9940X - Nvidia 2080Ti 11Gb - 32GB RAM - 4TB SSD Oculus Rift S - FULL VIRPIL SETUP: T50CM2 throttle, T50cm2 Base and Grip, ACE2 Rudder

So it is working in vr as well? guys pretty sorry, i read something about nvlink and VR... NOW nvlink is not supported for vr, but it is for 2d gaming. I hope with the new render engine they'll support nvlink even in vr. ___________________________________ DCS 2.5.6 Open Beta - F-18C, F-14B, F-16C, Av-8b, A-10C, Uh-1h, SA-342, Mi-8MTV2, KA-50 Modules Persian Gulf Map, Nevada Training Map ALIENWARE AREA-51 INTEL Intel I9-9940X - Nvidia 2080Ti 11Gb - 32GB RAM - 4TB SSD Oculus Rift S - FULL VIRPIL SETUP: T50CM2 throttle, T50cm2 Base and Grip, ACE2 Rudder
