I really miss this sound / feature. Its really helpful when your are in dogfight mode and you are looking for the bandit with your eyeballs. But the radar finds it before you, instead of like now.

Oh, i locked something up, surprise!

Yes agree. Cant believe ed cant implement this 10 min fix, just drag n drop in a folder and link to the right condition. Same with realistic rwr sounds or real strobe lights. Instead they come with stupid bug fixes no one cares about.

Yeah, cannot understand ED's thoguht process. The bug fixes in the latest patch are not even reported in the forums. However, the critical bugs reported is the forum are not fixed.

Do they have to be reported? Reported or not, it is still a bug.

They are fixing bugs, not just reported bugs... some bugs take longer to fix, that's why they aren't fixed yet.

Same with others, I expected to hear "I-F-F.", "counter.", "caution." or "data." in some situations

DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart

PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013

DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. (After all there's enough hostility on the internet already which really doesn't help anyone. Thanks.)

It would be good to see (or should I say hear) this implemented.

You get the sound when testing the warning and cautions, but not when FCR locks

These are the things I don't understand about DCS.

What is the problem with coupling this sound with the lock?

Sounds like an excellent way of getting this thread locked tbh. ED know its missing and they've already marked this thread as "planned" So lets just leave them to it. Its on what is probably a very long list of things to do/change/fix and they'll get to it when they get to it.

There are other bugs that bother me to a similar degree but I've resisted the urge (well... mostly) to shout about them every time a new OB release arrives and they aren't fixed.

Shouldn't this be filed under "bugs"? We do have this sound, it comes on during the test sequence. It just doesn't play when it should.

The audio clip is already there, I’m surprised they haven’t added this feature, it’s small but satisfying like the “chaff flare”.
