T-Pap
In a group with F-16's and/or F-18 , the Jf's can communicate between eachother but they cannot receive or transmit to the F-16s/18s in the same group. Similar , F-16 can see eachother and transmit/receive but are unable to see the Jfs. Is this a bug or a missing feature ? If there is a matter of correct setup , could you please give me some instructions as to how to setup the group so that other planes can work with the jf in the same datalink group ? Similar , F-16 can see eachother and transmit/receive but are unable to see the Jfs. I think it works as intended, as on the real airplanes their Datalink protocols are different: F-16 and F-18 use Link-16 while the YF-17 uses an indigenous system. Harlikwin
As I understand it the Jeff and F-teens need to have an awacs in the mission to "interpret". Which seems fairly plausible. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1) Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really). Should they be able to share data through an awacs if one is present? Tiger-II
JF-17 can piggy-back on the back of E-3A or A-50 if they're in the mission for DL, but they can't share directly with the other non-JF-17 aircraft without.
