New Mi-8 Textures for Russian and Brazilian Special Forces!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I made some new textures based on the russian "FSB Spetsnaz" ( Special Forces ) real model "Mi-8 MNP-2", with the identification number "RF-23107", and another texture based on the real russian "FSO Spetsnaz" ( Federal Protective Service of Russia), helicopter, with the identification number "RF-20461".

These textures contain all the same details, such as colors, symbols and warning signs according to real helicopters of FSB, FSO and of Brazilian Navy. All the fuselage symbols/signs and warning adhesives follow the real measurements according to official manuals of Russian Aviation and Brazilian Military Aeronautic.

I made these textures with the idea of creating some DCS missions for special operations as anti-terrorist groups, by using special forces groups, like the well-known russian "Spetsnaz" groups as: Alfa, Vympel, GRU and many others!

I also created another Mi-8 helicopter texture specially based on the brazilian Navy Special Forces.

I hope you will like it!

Give your opinion about it!

Hi. ebabil,

Thanks for your comment! Well the pictures you showed are cool, this is a nice helicopter painting. Yes, it wouldn´t be impossible to do it, cause it hasn´t so much details, but the only thing that takes a few more time to do is to adjust the curved lines to match them.

I saw that this painting has some warning texts written on the helicopter fuselage, but I couldn´t see what these texts say. I should have to zoom them in to reproduce exactely as they are. Maybe, I have to search for more other reference photos for making this skin. :book:

I won´t promiss to you that I will do it at the moment, because I am working on 4 other skins for these modules: Mi-8, Gazelle, F-18 and Mirage. But I will try to find a free time to do it!

First of all thank you for your reply and interest mate.

Near the trail rotor with arrow icon it says "TEHLİKE - UZAK DUR" meaning danger keep away

and maybe this one can help with other stencils. I will try to add once i find more. In fact these little stencils are not vital to me

so far i couldn't find a photo but maybe this video works for you. Looks like there are 2 big "JANDARMA" words underneath it.

Wow I didin't know that you go in details that much.

Sadly I am also unable to find that patch with my search. I found this one and maybe you can convert land forces to jandarma. Please note that there is water mark at the lower right corner of the flag. you will need to remove it too.

And I found a different type of jandarma patch. this one also has a watermark

If you can't solve this lack of patch situation, maybe you can apply standalone TR flag only.

best regards.

Thanks for the video, but I had already watched it too! And thanks for the patch with the Turkish flag with Jandarma text! I think I can use it as a patch, because the real patch looks more realistic on the texture, instead of a simple drawing with an artificial embroidered effect, and unfortunately there isn't a embroidering effect for the software I use.

Well, I have already made all the texts and adhesives, but I also made many other things as the main text "Jandarma" with a gradient effect in red and blue colors for the side of fuselage, and I also began drawing the side lines for the fuselage,

Some textures as the ones for pilot uniform, helmet, tank texture, EVU, and the texture for the Mi-8 fuselage parts are already done, I have already made the script to be used for this Jandarma Mi-8 texture.

As I said before, I can not promiss to finish soon this Mi-8's Jandarma texture, because I have many other things I am working on at this moment, maybe it will take some weeks to be finished yet, but it certainly will be made. And right now all the creating process is already very advanced!

So, I inform to you when iI have finished it!
