Snowblind
I’ve not used SLI in dcs for a long time, I have it disabled in nvidia control panel, I get much better performance on a single card, no micro stutter or artifacts, but I’ll try it out for you and report back 8700k @5.2ghz delided \ Asus Maxiumus XI code \ RTX 3090 FE \ 32GB DDR4 corsair vengeance RGB @3600 \ 1TB Samsung 960 pro NVME \ 1TB samsung 850evo \ 2TB WD black HDD \ MFG crosswind v2 \ Virpil WARBRD X2 Constellation Alpha L+R and Mongoose CM3 throttle \ ASUSPG348Q 100hz 34 ultrawide [/i]https://imgur.com/a/VjNEllM

overalien
Sorry I have no progress to share yet. If it is any help, a similar problem used to exist with cloud flickering when using SLI. this is completely resolved now. Why I am mentioning this is that it seems to be similar in this case where the rendering of the radar image is out of synch with general rendering of the overall frames. this seems to mess with the frame rendering in SLI. Maybe this helps your devs pinpoint the hopefully simple cause. There are a few of us hardcore DCS enthusiasts with large displays and many exports who really can use every frame we can get. SLI scales 50% for me in DCS and is super reliable in general. I depend on it for smooth gameplay and proper immersion and would appreciate a little attention to this topic from the devs. thanks for a great sim guys! __________________ overalien Hog Driver starting to really like the Tomcat System specs: Intel i7-8700k - OC to 5.0 GHz | 32 GB RAM 3600 MHz | Nvidia 1080ti SLi | Mixed Storage - Win 10 and DCS on Samsung SSD 970 Pro Flightgear: 7 Displays (3 x 1440p, 1 X 1080p, 3 X Lilliput Touch) | 3 x Cougar MFDs | Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR Pedals | iBEAM Shaker + Simshaker for Aviators w. overalien
We may have a fix, I can make no promises, but hopefully you will notice a change in a future patch. thanks thanks a stack, BigNewy. I will let you know after future patches if something changes. Yesterday's patch had no effect. As further info in case it is useful: in SLI SFR, the problem does not appear - only in AFR and AFR2. Unfortunately there are significant framerate penalties in SFR, making it unusable. __________________ overalien Hog Driver starting to really like the Tomcat System specs: Intel i7-8700k - OC to 5.0 GHz | 32 GB RAM 3600 MHz | Nvidia 1080ti SLi | Mixed Storage - Win 10 and DCS on Samsung SSD 970 Pro Flightgear: 7 Displays (3 x 1440p, 1 X 1080p, 3 X Lilliput Touch) | 3 x Cougar MFDs | Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR Pedals | iBEAM Shaker + Simshaker for Aviators w. overalien
Thank you for letting me know I will pass it on to the dev Thanks BIGNEWY! If this helps, I noticed that with the SLAM video feed there is also a kind of corruption where the video feed display's previous frame seems to linger after it should be cleared. It seems like in both cases (Radar and SLAM video feeds) the last frame lingers as a latent artefact and is then overlapped by each the new frame without the "old" frame being culled. It is something like a memory leak, but with the actual displayed frames merging with each other instead of replacing each other like normal video. Maybe this helps identify the cause? __________________ overalien Hog Driver starting to really like the Tomcat System specs: Intel i7-8700k - OC to 5.0 GHz | 32 GB RAM 3600 MHz | Nvidia 1080ti SLi | Mixed Storage - Win 10 and DCS on Samsung SSD 970 Pro Flightgear: 7 Displays (3 x 1440p, 1 X 1080p, 3 X Lilliput Touch) | 3 x Cougar MFDs | Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR Pedals | iBEAM Shaker + Simshaker for Aviators w.
