Pilot stays calm and relaxed

I think I would freak out and pull that handle quicker…

I just realize that a triple A is an AAA.

Any recordings or real footages of F16 F15 F22 or what ever in dogfights are just incorrect and false due to most of simmers here in the forum and also false F15 pilot, ..... dogfights are absolute they said ... on so Dogfight are impossible and anyway it is impossible that an US planes loose period.. hu hu no way...

Only Galactica's viper can defeat an F16...

Depending on the size of the gun, AAA can reach up to 80000'. Don't be surprised about the 19000'.

Man, triple A is scary. You've got these fragile planes one -- little nick from that stuff and you are flying a glider. If I were a pilot, I think I'd be more frightened of bailing over enemy territory due to AAA than just being killed outright or even going down in a fiery crash.

AAA might pose a real threat but I'm scared of MANPAD's :music_whistling:

BTW I think it was a SAM missile blast that damaged this bird!

Playing F4AF gave me food for thought on the abilities of AAA. I don't claim that this is a reflection of reality, but a lot of stuff in that sim gets you thinking. I've never once been hit by a MANPAD. Over a certain altitude, they can't hit you. Even down low, if you go fast and keep your counter measure program going, they have a hard time hitting you. AAA? I've been damaged by that a dozens of times. It makes SEAD, interdiction, and CAS interesting for someone who's impatient like me. :)

And I agree, I thought that F-16 was shot down by a SA-6. I know for a fact one was, perhaps a different incident.

Serbs shot many SAMs without radar lock so you won't hear 'em coming in your RWR. But however I still think it's a missile launch tone at 3:07 and 3:24. Then hit happens at 3:25 and at 3:28 pilot says "Hammer 3 just hit again"!

I think I heard couple of explosions in that video (2:39-2:40) it might be FLAK as well but I still believe it was a missile that damaged this plane.
