Now I see a bug and it would be nice to fix it before entering a new api

Open Beta. AIM-54 of all version have guidance in the midcource, even when the broken track. AWG-9 in TWS-A mode. The target (MiG-21) changes course and speed after launch, so INS are not an assistant.

Thank you, known issue, nothing on our side we can do about. We hope the new APi will eliminate the guidance bug. Whether target changes course or speed has nothing to do with INS guidance or not, though.

Thanks for the answer!

Hmm.. I read that so far the aim-54 guidance system is the same as for the aim-120. Does AIM-120 have the same problem?

I know, my english is bad :(

Your english is perfectly fine mate! No, the aim120's guidance has been updated, the phoenix still has the old guidance. Guidance is also 100% ED side, we just use it, all we do is the missile fm and define, once possible, how the missile should be guided in regards to SARH, active, etc. Overly simplified put, to note please.

@IronMike: Just an FYI, the "magic INS" is already fixed for the amraam, same as active commands in TWS and loft. Might wanna take a look at the new code.

We know, we cannot just look/adopt the code like that, but we're currently working on it with ED. Hopefully this will be behind us soon, too, but lately we're making great progress on both sides I feel, despite putting you guys through some hickups - we're getting there. One step at a time. :)
