a track replay is always better.

 

But dont worry to much we are aware of the issues with AI especially in dogfights and we are working improvements to BFM.

I have a similar issue with this, but the AI flight leader finishes the attack orbiting forever the target waypoint.

 

I created a mission with flights: CAP (4x F-14B), SEAD (4x F/A-18C), Pinpoint Strike (4x F/A-18C), Runway Attack (4x F-16C) and CAS (4x AV-8B).

 

The flight leader of the Runway Attack (F-16C) and Pinpoint Strike (F/A-18C) finishes the attack and stay orbiting forever the target waypoint. The others flight elements return to the base, but the leaders don't.

same loopz for me: april 11

 

When AI Tomcat was on the groove I landed my Hornet, result:

Just disturbing (fly under) AI on the groove is not enough for looping. (For me AI just done today a wave off.)

 

(I have a long tack for 2.5.6.45915 only, not replayable with latest)

I have a highly edited scene, for someone is good at arrival timing.

Maybe we can pump up the number for landing AIs for greater chance.
