Dude, your progress so far with this new F-15 model looks really amazing!

I love and still use Walmis F-15 and I'm sure he would have brought it to a point, where it would have been absolutely perfect.

Unfortunately he didn't get the chance no more after he lost his model, when his harddrive crashed.

I'm really looking forward to your model borchi, because it seems like you did an awesome job on the "face" of the Eagle!

The nose and the canopy proportions and angles are perfect.

I think SuperKungFu mentioned it before, that this was still an issue with Walmis Eagle.

I don't post a whole lot so I hope you don't mind, if I make a suggestion nevertheless.

How about making the visor darker so you can't or at least bearly see the face of the pilot when the visor is down.

If you plan on having the visor up at some point, I would link it to the canopy opening and closing and not to the gear like somebody suggested.

Pilots don't raise the visor, when on landing approach.

The mask looks good, but you could also model the newer mask, where the hose is attached offset from the middle a bit to the side.

Anyways, one last time:

Your EAGLE -> AWESOME

ME -> CAN'T WAIT

well i am not sure yet, first i want to get the f-15 in basic done.

i guess that a new chutist would interfear with all the other models that use the chutist file.

when ED would like to support the project there might be a way to do that.

well but i know that they have to much work on black shark still now, so i guess there will be no new chutist, but maybe we as sim-mod team decide to do that

we will see in the future

that all i can say about it

God one, bear in mind that all missiles in LOMAC fit into the models in exact 0 degrees off the centerline axis, i.e. places like smi recessed pylons will look off when you put the missiles in them. They will be either partialy burried into the model or hanging out on one tip. Thats why LOMACs model is straight on the air intakes to the tail when the real thing the cross section decreases to the tail.

Excellent Job keep it up.

nope, its not the missiles. Its how LOMAC doesnt let you adust the angles to place the missiles on fuselage pylons. You are forced to use 0 degrees everywhere. For example, wing tip missiles on the F-16 they are slighly canted down IRL but in LOMAC they aim straight forward.

Eagle comin' along?

Hey Borchi_2b,

Anxious to see how your F-15 model is coming along. My computer crashes everytime I try to get on to Sim-Mod.com where all your updates are so I thought I'd check here at DCS. Could you give me an idea of your progress and possible release for the new -15C?

Keep up the good work,

Wilbur-81
