Lange_666 Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 Been a while since i flew a bit in beta but after the last update yesterday i gave it another try. I'm currently doing quite a bit of carrier traps with Bankler's Case 1 mission and mostly in VR. The moment i entered the F/A-18 cockpit i noticed some difference in colour between the beta and the stable. The MFD's in the beta are a lot less brighter then those in stable. I also tried 2D and there's the same difference but it doesn't bother me there. In VR however, i prefer the more brighter colour of the MFD's (stable version) because it makes them a lot more readable. Game settings for both are the same, brightness and contrast knobs all the way up. Beta Stable Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
Khegrow Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 (edited) Stable is a few versions behind Beta. The MFDS/MPCDS and AMPCD are way darker then before the latest open beta. They seem to be set to "night" by default now. Worst offender is the AMPCD (center..) I can barely read it now. This is getting even more worse if you export these.. Please set that back to the old state.. Edited July 17, 2020 by Khegrow
