Puma
In 2.5.6.52437 The behaviour of the SAI has changed for me. I can uncage it and it seems to automatically center itself instead of scrolling smoothly down to center as I adjust the wheel. If I move the wheel more, the SAI just jitters but remains very near center. Another user reported that he sees the exact same thing and is unable to re-cage it at all, so I realized it sounds like it’s not just me. eaglecash867
I just confirmed the same. The parallax adjustment barely moves up and down. G.J.S
Do you find the backup ADI rolls after a while? Aircraft straight and level, yet backup ADI off by 20 ish degrees? Try a flight, and after 20 - 30 minutes, check your backup. Does it match HUD? Alien desktop PC, Intel i7-8700 CPU@3.20GHz 6 Core, Nvidia GTX 1070, 16GB RAM. TM Warthog stick and Throttles. G.J.S
This is normal behavior which is why the Cage Knob needs to function properly to restore the instrument to level. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4450390#post4450390 I know about gyro precession, but i have not flown far enough for it to be a factor, and i remember the limitations on the ADI, both pneumatically driven and electric, to say that this sort of manifestation (in the link to another thread), should not be so apparent - so quickly.
