Trick is making them less noticeable during level flight. Keep tweaking... No, not on version 1. Fixing normals changed the darkness of trees so still tweaking colors. But I will probably release a version in couple days as normal map fix alone makes a big difference. Open and re-save with channels flipped or what? You'd need nVidia dds plugin for Photoshop first. Open the normal file and make selection of all side views and not the top down view. And invert red channel only. Also please keep in mind that dark/light will depend on time of the day and whether Sun is behind your or in front of you. Can't compensate for this with texture alone. Personally I prefer "light" version. It works nic in VR also, maybe placebo ;> but it looks like they have better performace (motionreprojection on) than default trees. Good job!
