Small PSA Syria Instant Action Missions

Recommended Posts

Dear all,

unfortunately some hotfixes for the instant action missions did not make it into the patch. They may not have been uploaded in time, and did not make it in anymore.

These changes - all to a small effect, such as typos, some loadout corrections and AI corrections for the cold start mission - will be included in the next hotfix pending August.

Our apologies and thank you for your kind patience.

They're pretty fun, thanks! Glad I didn't have to go into the mission editor yet to enjoy the new map. On the Dissimilar with the two F-16s, I shot down the first one and the second one ran out of fuel and crashed as I was lining up on his six, for some reason my HUD and VDI were all messed up showing a 30-40 degree bank to port while my backup indicator indicated I was level. Didn't see any faults or anything and was able to ignore it and land at Incirilik without any issues.

If you're going to be under thood, I would prefer sidewinders, if not bags could be added for the Case I mission and maybe half fuel instead of full?

Could you consider mixing up the squadrons/livery? Is it possible to mix up the squadrons? Would love to see VF-103 or VF-32 low viz liveries

Not sure if it's F-14 specific but RAM usage seemed pretty high. On the Supercarrier Case I (which is my favorite so far, just love the look of the water and land), I was using 27GB. I was using about 21GB in the Dissimilar F-16 and 26GB with the F-15 BFM over Tiberias

Specs & Wishlist:

Core i9 9900k 5.0Ghz, Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero, 64GB G.Skill Trident 3600, Asus RoG Strix 3090 OC, 2TB x Samsung Evo 970 M.2 boot. Samsung Evo 860 storage, Coolermaster H500M, ML360R AIO

HP Reverb G2, Samsung Odyssey+ WMR; VKB Gunfighter 2, MCG Pro; Virpil T-50CM v3; Slaw RX Viper v2

Payloads and fuel have been fixed already, and I think I shuffled some skins, too.

About the RAM, I would guess it is map related.

Did something to the radios, though. Preset is acting like Guard and Vice Versa.

Anyone else see that you can fly mach 1.1 at mil power at angels 5? only on Syria instant action though...

Likely because Syria atmospherics are still WIP. At the time I made the missions the only temp selectable was 0° C. I don't think I will change it though, as in the insta missions it doesn't matter all that much.
