Reimplement a custom download folder?

It is time that the official custom download directory is returned. It is not suitable to demand a full map size space from a C:\ drive when it goes anyways to another drive among other maps.

Meanwhile, we could try to use CompatGUI to gain some free space. I'll test this and report here.
