Framerate slow again in Normandy?

Yes, It's unplayable for me at the moment, but my PC isn't the hottest so can't really complain. Maybe I have a ram shortage.

I'm experiencing some low FPS only in some occasions like heavy missions, and always in Normandy....

I am disappointed to report there's been no significant improvement to framerates since yesterday's patch.  If anything it's worse.  I have a mid-range system and Normandy remains one of the worst maps for framerates.

Odd, Normandy had been good for me since the last update and now is much better after yesterday's. I'm running it in 4k on a GTX 1070 at 60fps in the SoW server.

May I ask what your settings are for the game?  Your textures, draw-distance, shadows etc?  I had mine on high, but have had to drop down to medium, in order get my frame rates back to 60fps.  Before the patch is was fine on high.  I also run it in 4k, with a GeForce RTX 3070.  I've just noticed there's a driver update, so will try that...

Not at my gaming PC right now but mostly high/ultra for textures/clouds, medium and flat for shadows.  Water texture low. Visb high.

No MSAA since it is not much help at 4k compared to the impact.

I'm experiancing severely high memory usage on normandy that causes my pc to use 90% of the ram leading to eventual crash and stuttering within 20 minutes. a shame really as I used to really like flying on normandy.

specs for the those interested - Asus X99 Pro, Intel 5930k, 32gb corsair vengance lpx, geforce rtx 2080xc, corsair rm850x psu and a 1tb kingston ssd
