This fix plus the new clouds (and Mossie) are going to have me flying WW2 for a good long while! I was enjoying WW2 Liberation campaigns but this graphics bug just got too much to deal with and had to stop for the moment.

The glitches are linked to the new graphic effects of the explosions of the aircraft both of the 2nd World War and Moderns from the DCS version 2.5.6, we hope that what Biggewy says for version 2.7 is valid to resolve the problem definitively. REDEYE_CVW-66
Not sure I even believe this yet; I read on some other thread I guy said "Turn civilian traffic off". I did, and just did 3 furball missions of the Channel map in the spit.. No flashes. Don't take my word for it though- check and confirm.

NeMoGas
I always have civi traffic turned off, and the server I play in does too. I still get this glitch.
Doc3908
Worked for me. I tried to set the civilian traffic to low, and had no flashes for a couple of missions, but then they came back. Then I completely switched off civilian traffic and have flown probably 20-30 mission since with no flashes. Still, this can't be a solution. I like having civilian traffic - adds to the realism. Nealius
I've tried civil traffic off and low and get flashes with the same frequency either way.
RightYouAreKen
Curious if this ended up being fixed in 2.7? I didn't spot anything in the changelog that matched this issue, but I haven't noticed the red/orange flashes in any of my channel/normandy flights/fights over the weekend. Flappie
I can't reproduce it in 2.7 either. It seems they squashed this bug for good. 2 Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever.

MarvK
Finally got around to installing 2.7 + the first patch. Took the Spitfire up for a couple of hours last night and had no issues with the flashing red/yellow screen. So glad that this has been addressed. Clouds look amazing and I don’t see much of a frame rate hit, if at all. I even picked up the Channel map during the sale this weekend. Well done ED!
