And I asked multiple times if anything is wrong or any bugs are there and no answers. Not one player bothered to answer me so I assumed all is good. If such a thing is not reported then how am I supposed to know?

It would end up being just west of Lebanon within 2+ hours! Not enough space there west of Israel for that purpose.

I'll try and have them start very far south and go at a certain speed that doesn't get them too far north.

Hmm, I haven't seen you asking. I haven't even seen you at all on the server in the beginning (just the admin-user). Hoping you might be watching through the admin-user I (and some other guy as well) reported that the F-14 slots are broken in ALL chat. :dunno:

As there was no response and the server was pretty empty, we decided to quit after waiting another 5 minutes. Sorry :noexpression:

Shit happens. No worries, mate. I was on TS all night long and said that right in the beginning, before anyone chose any slots. Plus every now and then I'd jump on the server through the "admin eyes" to see if anyone reporting anything. And when I asked about any bugs 5-10 minutes into the mission there were 15-20 players or more.

Round 7 kicks off on Saturday, 09.10.2021, around 1800 zulu.

 

The server will be locked up with a password. Get on TeamSpeak 10-15 minutes prior to the event for a quick briefing and to get the password.

 

Note that I use the TeamSpeak 3 channel of the 104th Phoenix server.

When tuned in, scroll all the way down to see it.

Mission's Change Log:

- Added 12 x AV-8B's (2 x slots) operating from the aircraft carrier, Theodore Roosevelt.

- Blue ships are now mobile and not stationary any more.

- Aircraft numbers and their slots adjusted (reduced some and increased some).

- Added reserve slots for Falcons, Hornets and Harriers at Ramat David Airbase.

- That means if players land and leave their Falcons/Hornets/Harriers at Ramat David Airbase, the reserve slot becomes alive for that particular type of aircraft.

- Removed SA-15's escorting Red tanks on their way to the objective.

- Removed SA-13's escorting Red tanks on their way to the objective.

- Briefing and briefing images adjusted.

- Ground units' advanced options optimised.

- Updated the second post of this thread for a better aircraft overview and available weapons.

Round 7 was won by Red! Again...

 

Mostly balanced on the ground with air superiority for Blue. Unfortunately, Blue didn't use that to provide better CAS.

Red tanks managed to infiltrate and wipe out the TA and hold the captured base for the required 12 minutes to get the job done.

 

So far all rounds were won by the Reds, except for that one time when the 104th guys took on Blue and won it.

Unfortunately, when CAP was good there was no CAS however when there was CAS CAP simply didn't exist. I tried my best, but 23 just ain't enough 😉

There was a total of 4 kills from F-16's and F-18's. Trust me, that's not bad at all. And you wouldn't expect more in a terrain like this one. On the other hand, tanks can and do drive through forests in DCS when in real life you wouldn't even dare and rather stick to roads. Single trees/bushes are objects in DCS and you can't drive through them. Forests however, are not considered as such and if developers would make every single tree count as an object, we'd probably end up seeing smoke coming out of our PC's. Too much data!
