Razorback
Hello, I am currently building my Mi-24P simpit. I have already a real Mi-8 collective lever connected with a Leo Bodnar BU0836A board. All if working perfecly fine in DCS. I just added a 2 positions switch to this card in order to connect my simpit gear lever. In DCS, with this card, a 2 positions switch is just recognized as one position. So It seems that I have to edit a Lua file if I want that DCS recognize the switch with the 2 position I never wrote a Lua file and I even don't know where to place it in the DCS tree. So any help is more than welcome ! Thxxx a lot, Chris
Fusedspine33
Gear level - Bodnar BU0836A card- switch 2 positions Pretty sure this is the thread you want. Some talented folks in this treads group. LeCuvier is very capable in helping to understand this subject and you may find others have already posted the edit you need. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Edited October 4, 2020 by Fusedspine33
Sokol1_br
A two positions switch (SPST): ON-OFF don't send electrical information for BU0836 when toggled for OFF position, neither BU0836 recognize this change, so the card send nothing for Windows/game. DCS at least allow you edit LUA files and add command for OFF state (0) of command. How edit LUA files is explained there: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 But if instead you use a (DPDT) ON-OFF-ON switch will have button press in UP (ON) and down (ON) and can assign this two buttons for raise and lower landing gear. The second pins row (DP) can be used for lit a LED depending or switch position. https://i.postimg.cc/sXnXK5FN/BU0836-LED.jpg
Fusedspine33
RSMapper can help with with using on-off switches with only one electrical position. It's another option to solve challenges. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205492 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
