briosky2
A few bugs wrapped in 1 post. I was just in our teams MP server. The steerpoints no matter which one was selected was in the center of the VV. I could not get the TGP to slew to the steerpoint. The bomb fall line was pointing somewhere else. I switch to the AGM-65K in VIS mode and I cannot tell you whee it was pointing.TAW Modified TTI 1.0.00 (Persian Gulf) v1.66e_1.13-20201004-195534.trk
Chain_1
Can confirm. This happened to me yesterday.
Furiz
Vis mode on the Maverick is what made your TGP look at the VV, cause TGP, when Mav is in Vis mode, slews with Mav. So switch to Pre mode on your mav page and TGP will slew to the steerpoint. Do not try CZ or TMS down on TGP cause it will lock it to that point and you wont be able to move the target point. So all your CCRP bombs and Mavs will lock there no matter where your TGP is looking. You'll be able to slew TGP but the actual point wont move, its a bug with TGP. Frederf
EO VIS has some errors in logic. DCS is treating EO VIS aiming box like a steerpoint instead of a simple LOS direction pre-designate and a temporary point post-designate.

How is that possible when mav is off and I had CBU-97 selected in CCRP mode?
Furiz
How is that possible when mav is off and I had CBU-97 selected in CCRP mode? You said you switched to AGM 65, so I assume the Mav was on. And even tho you had bombs selected it still bugs up your STPT
briosky2
I had it on but shut it off thinking it was an issue. The Mav being on should not effect steerpoints when in Nav or CCRP. It should not effect steerpoints period. It should not effect TGP cue when the TGP SOI.

briosky2
Thank you for responding, I seem to see this answer for the same issue from other players with players reporting the bug. Could this bug be causing track issues?
briosky2
I just watched the track file and it shows what I am talking about clearly I looked at the track file and it showed exactly what I am stating as a bug. I takeoff the steerpoint indicator stays in the center of the VV I had to navigate by looking at F10 map and HSD. As I approached the AO I had CBU-97s ready in CCRP and the bomb fall line if off to the right, no TGP cue on HUD even though the MFD shows it moving around and at the city in front of me (I think)

briosky2
I don’t know if this is a bug but it appears to me as a bug. I tried a mission last night and loaded 6 AGM-65H’s CCD Mavs the default is boresight even though the missile is not powered on and not selected and master arm is not on it effects the steer points snd TGP. CBenson89
Can someone from ED advise how we are supposed to use the TGP for CCRP targets of opportunity? Right now it’s impossible to system designate a target of opportunity because the HUD box is locked to the steerpoint. I can find a target with the TGP and I can initiate a track on it but I can’t get weapons release parameters on that target. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Atm the HUD box bugs and locks to the STPT if you use CZ (cursor zero) or TMD Down, so don't do it, To fix that you can make the HUD SOI and move the box around then cycle through the CCIP/CCRP modes to get the TGP working properly again. d0ct0r0z
TGP + Syria bug? I am having some issues with the TGP in Syria. As soon as I fire up the TGP, my waypoints go haywire. Is this known? Edited October 13, 2020 by d0ct0r0z

d0ct0r0z
Same issue here. Discovered it yesterday. Loaded HARM's and the TGP. Steerpoints get very wacky after I fire up the pod. Pointing in the wrong direction, and sometimes the distance to steerpoint goes haywire, constantly changing, etc.
