I use VR, and they are just barely visibly in highest setting. They function at night, but would be a bit nicer to have more brightness adjustment range. Deezle
They seem to work fine at night. They are no longer visible at all with any daylight like they used to be (may have been a problem for months now in the A-10, as I've been away). Fred00
The console lights seem to be way too dim. The problem is that even in daylight the shadows in the cockpit seem too dark (a problem shared with many other modules, for example M-2000C) and turning on the console light does next to nothing. I have a hard time believing that they are this weak in real life. It should be a very simple task to allow us to turn up the lights higher. solidGad
also have this issue with the instrument lights. not really an issue as at night you can still see them, but they don't go very bright.
nickos86
+1 The cockpit is very dark again. Internal light barely change anything.

Shortcut
Gauge and instrument lights Does anybody else have this problem? Ever since I installed the A-10C II the interior gauge and instrument lights do not turn on. This is happening with the A-10C and A-10C II both are up and running and all the dials are turned all the way up but all the lights are off. 13700K, MSI Z690 D4 Edge wifi, Swiftech H360X3 Cooling with Corsair Water Block, Gigabyte 4090 OC, 64gb Trident Z 3600 CL16, Evga 850W G2 power supply, TM Warthog, MFG Crosswinds Rudder, TrackIR 5, HP Reverb 2, Pimax Crystal

Snoopy
To be fair in the real jet you can’t see the console lights when in direct sunlight, even with them tuned all the way up. v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website | v303rd Fighter Group Twitter
Deezle
Right, but the problem is any time there is daylight, they don't even show up when shadowed. Ziptie
Right, but the problem is any time there is daylight, they don't even show up when shadowed. This is pretty much my feeling as well - in the daylight, when shadows are cast over consoles/instruments, the illumination seems nearly non-existent. During sunset they start to become somewhat noticeable/useful (to me). At night, they are certainly functional, but even then, they seem under illuminated (to me). i can see nothing all knobs maxed that's what i get ^^ My experience is nowhere near that poor, so I should consider myself lucky.....? Are you using any mods? can you attach a short track replay showing the use of the console lights and your dcs log thanks Wondering if somehow the "bug" or whatever you might want to call it has reappeared, similar or identical to what happened in the A10CI, when the new cockpit was introduced - where the dev/mod build actually had a difference in illumination compared to the Open Beta version that "we" were all using..... I recall this being thought as normal, but then after some more digging you discovered that your version was indeed having different illumination intensity than what we were seeing. Just a stab in the dark (pun may or may not be intended)....?
