I know it's not gonna happen since it is not a very demanded plane, but I think it deserves to be in in this game's wishlist section. Because it is one of the most beautiful bombers ever was made

Yeah, I don't see why it couldn't be made an AI aircraft if a playable one was out the window.

Only thing is, it doesn't make much sense IMO without the Century Series. The only other thing I'll say is wasn't it primarily a nuclear bomber? I don't know what to think about aircraft beind added if their primary payload/mission isn't going to be accommodated.

The hustler has been requested over in the RC forums too. But because of its a design the top modeler from a particular company has stated that even though its one of the his favorite jets it would be too complex and expensive to make into a viable RC model. It has more chances of being made as a simulation than a real life RC model.

Well, it mostly hauled nukes, so it'd not be terribly likely or useful in a sim, either. It looks great, but it had a short service life and wasn't well suited for anything but a full-blown nuclear war. As an RC model, it'd be trouble, too, complex shape and unforgiving aerodynamics would make it expensive to fly and easy to crash. To think of it, the real thing had those exact problems.

I had the B-58 Hustler as a plastic model build when I was very young.

In fact, I was probably 3 years too young to attempt the build... lol.

Let's say plastic melts when too much contact cement is used.

I can see the B-58 as an AI MOD at the very least; some talented modder could bring it to life in some form if only to admire it or escort it to a Nevada Bone Yard one last time.

Nuke only. No normal conventional bombs.

It did do a little recon photo missions.

Soooo... it's a cool jet. It's a BEAUTIFUL jet.

But I'm not convinced it would sell big in DCS. Documentation abt systems and workstations, might be hard to find, not due to secrecy but due to limited unit numbers and how long ago they were removed from service.

I do remember flying a Hustler in FS2004, it was quite nice for freeware. Maybe someone will do something like that for the newer civlian flight sims?
