Tested it with AV8B, as long as you've got support vehicles nearby the FARP you can get service from ~100m away at least.

Devs, can you advise what the exact service radius is for the FARP is?

Fyi, here is a table of the support from the Ka-50 manual. It is general info. It is easier to read from right to left for me. You can use static Structures in the place of the respective Ground Unit. I suggest putting the units within 100 meters of the Farp Icon. Also have the player land within 100 meters of the Farp Icon.

I imagine that's something for ED to do. Personally it would be great if we could get a start from ground & start from ground hot for all aircraft.

I've now got a prototype RTS conquest map using this, where these are spawned by CTLD, from crates picked up from airfields via a C-130.

Just about to test slot saving and I'll be set to conquer the world. I like this new ED that gives us what we want, it's awesome 🙂

Really cool feature - tested it with some AI helicopters and they spawned on top of each other and exploded even though I selected separate parking spots. Is there something you need to select to make them appear without issues?

Did you used only one FARP?

I don't know about selecting parking spots, but for what I know:

One FARP = one helicopter

I might be wrong, but I doubt it.

I only used one FARP. That must have been the problem. Will try again! Thanks.
To be perfectly honest, if "one FARP = one helicopter" is true, it should not be allowed to select different parking spots for a single FARP. I haven't looked at this myself yet, but you might have found a small bug after all.

Might be better to use start from ground hot with the invisible FARPs instead (providing the ground is suitable enough).
