In the meantime you might extract some information from the other thread about this topic:

For me the best hint is one little sigh as Wags taxied past some Apaches on the ground in one of his Syria videos ;)

Don't quote me of that because I'm not sure at all, but from what I heard, it will be an redfor plane or a plane at the very least.

The apache would be awesome but it wouldn't be a "surprise", ED said they were planning to do this helo

Full fidelity su27/mig29 ?

I highly doubt it's the Apache, I read somewhere months ago it's something supposed to be "technologically new" or something like that. So it could be either a transport or modern russian fighter

agreed. for me even that delay speaks for the Apache. the "announcement of the announcement" was done Feb 7th. any other module could have been announced independent from what we have and what we will get. but the Apache can only be announced after the release of the Hind. just an opinion. i respect all others.

I do not really think its an V-22, it is just an option that matches some of the criteria.

Personally I hope for an Apache and really for a D-model. If then the work on the F-15E continues I am the happiest flightsimmer on earth. :D

All my eagerly awaited aircraft in DCS (AH-64D, OH-58D, F-14B, F-15C/E, F-16C, F/A-18C, AV-8B, A-10A/C) had become true then.

The rest for me is nice to have but not a must. An AH-1F/S, a F-111F, a F-117A, an A-6E, a F-4B/E and the already started A-7E would also be really nice to have for sure. :D

This is only my personal wishlist for modules I would like to have. ;) :pilotfly:

Discussed already in the linked thread. The most likely candidates are V-22 and F-111F, leaning towards the latter. Go check the thread for how this conclusion was obtained.

While I would LOVE to see the F-111 in the game, I doubt that ED will attempt to make one. It would require technologies that they have yet to develop properly. Heatblur on the other hand.....well In any case I would love one either way.

Chizh is actually a fan of the F-111 as his post (from long ago attests):

https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/%D1%80%D1%83%D1%81%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9/%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8C/%D1%82%D0%B5%D1%85%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B0-%D0%B8-%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%83%D0%B6%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5/60949-general-dynamics-f-111-aardvark

Well, they said it would be a "milestone". So perhaps it's development of those very technologies that they mean by that. Side by side multicrew is something that's been asked for a long time by Huey and Hip people, and Jester-like AI is in development for the Hind.

If Chizh is a fan of the F-111, then that would tip the scales towards it.

It will probably be announced in the DCS 2021 video, the same way the F-16 was announced in the DCS 2019 video.

Or it might not. This is Eagle Dynamics we are talking about. With Eagle Dynamics it's very hard to speak with any certainty of what, how or when things will happen. (If they do happen)

the aircraft will be a "huge milestone"!

A hint that it could be a big airplane, or just reading too much into the language used?
