Nightstorm
I've hit supersonic a few times w/o afterburners. I would imagine there are multiple factors that affect it. Altitude/air density, aircraft weight etc.
Hiob
I have a problem with the pitch axis. Every other axis works perfectly but pitch won‘t. In the axis tune menu it will move the whole way but in the plane it‘s just jittering in place.... any workaround? Nightstorm
As many of you know, I'm a big fan of the F22 and ever since it's re-release on 2/20 I've been tweaking and adjusting things for my own use. I have no intention of releasing a second version however, I could release a mod for the mod. I was considering two versions. One that would be 100% compatible with the stock release of the F22 mod for multi-player and another with additional changes for single player use. Both would REQUIRE the new version of the base MOD on the first page of this thread. As some may know many of the files in the new version are encrypted, and as such can't be modified that much. However, most of the cockpit scripts are not encrypted. I first set out to make small improvements and bug fixes but then expanded to try and make the non-functional pages do something. As I communicated to the dev team, I mean no disrespect to them in any way. What they've released FOR FREE is in a word AWESOME. There's nothing wrong with trying to build upon that work in my opinion. After all, isn't that how innovation works? Someone builds a better mouse trap by improving on the original. Here are some screen shots of the cockpit displays I'm working on: Edited April 8, 2021 by Nightstorm 2

Nightstorm
I would consider it done at this point. The last modification to the ICP page added an easy to read AGL reading. I posted a link to this thread on the DCS Facebook page but the general response was to laugh in my face. So much for doing something nice for the community.

Nightstorm
Thanks Sorry if I got a little salty. I can only imagine what Joe Grinnelli felt like with all the backlash at releasing the mod both times. In any case, just for anyone's curiosity, here are ALL of the changes I made to the version I'm using: Personal Modifications: Renamed Mod to "F-22A" for compatibility with existing missions in entry.lua. Modified indication textures HSI page graphics to include an F-22 icon in the center and spread out the nav circles. Added MAP.DDS static map graphic, options for NTTR, Caucasus, Persian Gulf and Syria. (In separate MAPS folder, only one useable at a time currently.) Nightstorm
Just now, Lenux said: Okay, thank you, but how do I control the aircraft?? Like any other. You have to bind the pitch to the correct axis. As noted in the picture I posted, do not use the regular pitch axis but use the F-22 FCS Pitch axis. All of those instructions are on the download site.

Nightstorm
What I've done doesn't affect the exterior of the aircraft except for the canopy. I've done a full set of textures for every F22 built but they haven't been released yet. The textures and the template released by the dev team look great in my opinion. *Edit* Those screenshots do look nice. I don't know what he did though. Nightstorm
Speaking of the liveries. Here they are. If I learn of a better rough material to use that might get incorporated (with permission of course). I used the template provided and built a PSD file. Some of these were included already in the release. Set's A-D include every serial number delivered to the USAF represented at some point in their history. There are no HO aircraft tails included but all of the TY tails are. These files are already OvGME ready as that's exactly what I've used to install them. *EDIT* Old versions deprecated. See this post: I've just started the upload for the files at the time of this post, so it may take a few minutes for them to complete.
