Did today's Windows 10 update (ver.2004) mess up WMR?

Sorry I'm no expert on this, so forgive me if I say something silly..

But today I had a Windows 10 update (to version 2004) and now when I'm in DCS, I have no mouse control.

Also, when putting on my Reverb, I see this blue bar on my desktop mirror screen with the "Win-Y" message... I've never seen that before.

Does anyone recognize this? Any idea how I can get mouse control again in VR?

(when I put off my headset, the blue bar disappears and my mouse responds in the desktop mirror screen)

(oh and hitting "Win-Y" doesn't do anything)

I think there was an update just released for the Reverb G2 and also covers G1.

Wonder if you have that?

Also latest Windows 10 version is 20H2.

I am getting a cumulative update this version of Windows 10 right now.

Thanks guys

I already somehow managed to solve it though... No idea how .. I basically restarted DCS a couple of times and suddenly my mouse worked again

I have a constant problem when in DCS that happens the majority of the time like this.

I get in, mouse does not move in DCS when in VR. I have to hit CTRL+Y, then Alt+Tab to move to another window and then Alt+Tab back to DCS and then the mouse works in DCS. Not sure why - have never questioned it, just found this workaround that works most times when I launch DCS. (I've learned to do all this without removing the VR headset. Not sure what it's doing outside of DCS on the screen, but it seems to work).

And it got a cumulative update yesterday - at least on my end.

My Reverb G2 arriving this afternoon sometime, so I will find out soon enough I reckon.

There are more updates today. I am specifically curious about this WMR update VR Flight Sim Guy referenced in his recent video. Would be bizarre that WMR has an update only for the G2 Reverb and not everything else. Would be good to know.

Yeah, got my G2 today. But work got in the way. I'm updating Redmond company's' sim to see if VR support is there yet or not.

But I'd love to see your experience with your BIG HONKIN 3090! :)

I'm seriously thinking about jumping to AMD 5950X (I think that's the one). I do fair amount of video/YT editing so it's tempting. But I'll wait to see if their 6000 video card is at least comparable to 3090. If not, I may go with AMD CPU and 3090.

20GB 3080ti will be just as fast as the 3090 and $500 cheaper, give or take. So you may want to keep that in mind instead. Rumor is a January release to combat the 6900XT.

Thanks. I guess it's one of those "it's on, no it's not on" kind of a thing. I have time so I'll wait for the 6900XT. To see if the faster access via Ryzen will pay dividends or not.
