Gloom Demon
After an update I was confronted by a situation when the updater told me that the possibility of downloading an update to another drive and installing from there is no longer available. I don't think this is a good decision because a lot of DCSW users have it on an SSD and finding the extra space needed for an update can be a problem. I only have about 16 Gb free on my 256 Gb SSD and the update needed more than 20. I really had to think hard how to free up disk space... Gloom Demon
The new update requires 60 something GB on my SSD... It looks like I have to uninstall modules to get updated :-( AMD Ryzen 3600, Biostar Racing B850GT3, AMD Rx 580 8Gb, 16384 DDR4 2900, Hitachi 7K3000 2Tb, Samsung SM961 256Gb SSD, Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X, Samsung S24F350 24'
rayrayblues
Sad to say, it may be time to invest in a bigger SSD. I know money is tight, mine is too, but the game is growing and growing. My main install folder is up to 212 Gb on a 500Gb SSD. I have some other games on the same drive so, I may be trying to buy a 1Tb soon. Good luck. Edit: Bigger and better hardware is becoming necessary in order to run many newer titles. It's getting harder and harder to play anything on a "potato." Edited December 29, 2020 by rayrayblues Additional thoughts. SLAVA UKRAINI MoBo - ASUS 990FX R2 Sabertooth, CPU - AMD FX 9590 @4.7Gb.
