Surrexen
In multiplayer at least, flying at night in the MiG-15 the UV lights for the instruments will be on in a hot start, then after about 20-30 seconds they will switch themselves off and then cannot be turned back on. Art-J
I recall that as per manual, UV light bulbs tend to overheat and burn out very quickly if kept at full power. Pilot should keep them cranked down a little bit. Maybe hot start config in the mission editor sets them to max automatically? I don't think you can edit that, so just have to remember to adjust them immediately after you spawn. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. ED Team NineLine Posted June 15, 2022 ED Team Share Posted June 15, 2022 This seems to be fixed now, on HOT start they dont seem to be at full power now. If you are still seeing an issue, let me know. 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
SMH
Yes, work as they should and burn out as they should. The UV bulbs (which I'm guessing are mercury vapor?) need extra juice to get started, but will burn out if not backed off (to about the end of the arrow) after a few minutes. American planes like the P-47 seem to do this automatically but you have to remember to do it in the MiG. I still forget and burn them out about half the time. 1
