Good work on most of the fixes, It seems like the FM got changed too, seems more jittery right around transsonic.

Also, IDK if you guys caught it in testing but the F1 can now get stupid fast diving from high alt. Like 1100kt at near sea level... Pretty sure the plane should break doing that, or the engine.

Probably a proper bug report would be a better approach.

Yeah there is already a lively thread in the bugs section. But like the world speed record at sea level is several hundred knots short of that, thats like Mach 1.6-7.

Hi, make sure you have set "easy comms" off and that the radio green or red button is pressed-in, at the audio panel on the left console.

i always fly with easy com. i dont like to dial all this items and remembering all the freq. or rebuild missions to put all of them for preset chanels. is this main problem? Oo

I understand, we all play dcs for different reasons … on my case, I like to pretend I’m flying the real aircraft and experience what a real pilot did, so fiddling with the aircraft controls is enjoyable for me 🙂 … unfortunately easy comms seem to not be implemented yet for the Mirage F1.

usually, frequencies are listed on the mission briefing and most well designed missions have them already on presets.

same here. but real pilot flies 2-3 sortie per day at war. detailed brief supply etc. i fly 10 sorties per day XD for all the procedures i have pmdg and fenix airbus for msfs and ivao.

yes. usually and most. i dont know much missions for f1 yet, and am not a mission builder, and so on.

ok, got it. thank you for help. good flying weekend for us)))

Hello, has this been implemented now? AKA Dogfight radar gunsight? Thank you 🙂

It seems to be.  I've been testing it out.  Not super accurate but seems to be less guessing than before.

Hi! Congratulation for the great work, but we will need a more readable HUD, as it is right now, I barely can distinguish the figures and I am just setting up DCS in VR, I might be able to go around this issue if I can find out how to zoom in and out.

Merry Christmass and Happy New Year!

Thanks for your insight.

I've seen a mod after posting this and installed it but it would be better if it was developer's made, at least we would have it back without issues aftereach DCS update.

Those guys are doing a great job helping to improve this module, except for one thing: I'm not going to splash dosh on a map (Syria) just to get training cessions, that's a no go, it should be available on the standard maps.

Does anyone know what the JL100 external armament is? i tried looking it up but couldnt find anything.. and im assuming the CC - 420 external cannons are going to just a single 30mm defa cannon on a pylon?

Also I read up there will be a elint pod? does that mean we will get a anti radiation missle?

This module has me addicted on DDCS i have landed some pretty nasty kills on some f16s with it.. and its great for taking out sam sites since it can fly so low and quickly. Cant wait for the f1M 🙂

Thanks for the F-1, a nice plane to study. After recent amendment the flight dynamics offers better stability especially at final approach with LG down. Full pedal, either left or right, introduces small yaw deflection which changes for higher yaw with LG retracted (bet due to augmentation system increased authority). Glad flameout is implemented.  Now approach and touchdown is far more peaceful and friendly.

They are rocket pods and external tanks all in one?! That is brilliant! And there is some for bombs as well. Thanks for showing us what those are. Cant wait for more updates. And im really hoping for the elint and arm missles. Im not sure if spain ever used them though.

Dear Mirage F1 virtual pilots,

After this last DCS Open Beta update we want to provide you some feedback, to give you a better idea of what our changelog is about.

This update has been centered in bug fixing and overhauling some systems and behaviours.

The multiple issues with the AP have been corrected and the turbulence behaviour and the response of the yaw damper has been further adjusted.

The first stage of the INS overhaul has taken place, with a focus on fixing and completing the alignment logic. More work in better modeling of the drift behaviour is already underway.

Another area where we are moving forward with this update is the implementation of cage/uncage functions for the Sidewinder missiles, as well as other updates in the short range IR missiles logic.

Of course, work in improving other aspects, such as the oxygen or the gyroscope systems has continued.

Finally, we are glad to announce that, major effort is being put in the development of the upcoming F1BE two-seater version.

Hi @jaguara5,

No, no changes made in the FM apart from the yaw damper and the turbulence behaviour.

I've quickly tested the turn rates and they coincide with the data we have and the behaviour shown in the last adjustment early this year.

If you feel the behaviour different, it might come down to the changes to the yaw damper (obviously depending on the maneuvers you were testing).
