AUS_Heracles Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 I have the comms menu button (\) set to a button on my hotas as I fly in vr and it makes it easier, I have recently found that on ground the comms menu works through the hotas bind but doesn't work when in the air. The keyboard bind (\) works fine on ground and in air. Has any one else run into this? I have tried rebinding but didn't work. Cheers, John. I feel the need The need for jet engines to create thrust in order to have differential pressure on the wings which achieves aerodynamics lift at high velocity Ooww!! ED Team BIGNEWY Posted December 5, 2020 ED Team Posted December 5, 2020 Hi, by design the comms menu should only work on the ground, once in the air you should use the aircraft mic / ptt / comm thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? PCFD801 Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 I'm having same problem. I just moved to HOTAS WARTHAG from 1600. The Communications always worked fine in the air or on the ground using my 1600 and one switch action to get menu. How do you transmit orders to your wingman and talk to AWACs and ATC in VR if don't use the menu??? Above answer doesn't make sense.
