Lock On Flaming Cliffs 2 Sounds

I downloaded DCS World 1.5 in my PC, but DCS always crash when I'm starting it up. I was so disappointed so I just continue playing FC2. But I realize that I can change the engine sounds, RWR sounds, and etc. So I swap the engine sounds in DCS World to FC2, and other effects. I will just go ask you, is it legal to change the sounds? But I promise that I will not make an installer because this cost a lot of money and with this sounds so there's no spoilers I think. But if its legal, I would like to ask all of you guys. If youre good at editing games or changing codes especially in FC2 LOMAC. How can I make a command in FC2 to make the "Engine Startup Effects/Sounds" in the game when I"m starting the engines in FC2 because the current sound in FC2 is lame and not realistic. BTW i have the Sound Effects. If its illegal, i will revert it back to the original. Thank you!!!!!
