Super job, but I have a problem in the editor, see conformal fuel tank, and when I enter the mission, unfortunately I can't see it?

I can't say what would be causing your issue unless it's a conflict with another mod.

It works fine.  Are you using the latest version?  Do you have an error in a log file?

  • Nightstorm changed the title to CFT_Mod_2.0.3A and 2.0.3B

I've gone over everything and tested it again.  I can't find any issues.  I've updated the mod with some changes to the missiles, but they were minor.  The ECM controls are integrated for both the F-16C and the Lahak F-16I.  I've testing binding them in both.  I renamed the mod to v2.0.3.

Just installed 2.0.3B. I round up the usual suspects, i.e. aircraft mods, put all of them in a backup folder, then return some of them and start the game. By elimination, it is the F-22A mod which causes the problem. Shame.

It may not be the direct result of the Raptor mod itself, probably some other complications. I have enclosed the log file below for your reference.

Thanks.

This is because the same file namely "A2A_Missiles.lua" can't be installed twice.  I have notes about this posted in the F22 thread in a couple of places.  That's one of the reasons I maintain the following F22 add on.  Download this, follow the instructions.  Your issue will be resolved.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/zia323bvadtkznl/F-22A External Weapons.7z?dl=0

By default, the single player F22 enhancement mod installs a copy of that file in the root F22 folder in saved games.  The CFT mod ALSO installs a copy of the file in the main game folder.  There's no way to know if a person is going to use one or the other or both.  The CFT mod needs it in the main folder, the F22 mod can also use it in the main folder but I don't want to install it there by default for the F22 mod as the rest of it is contained in saved games.  I had also found that external missiles wouldn't show on the F22 unless that file was located in the main folder and that was the original reason this add on was created.  However, it was obvious it couldn't be in both.

*EDIT* I had a note in bold on the first page of the F22 enhancement mod thread as others have had the same issue.  I've added one to the first page of this thread too.

Should I installed the "external weapon" before or after the CFT mod?

Anyway, it works now. Big thanks!

Either way works.  The CFT mod places that A2A_Missiles.lua in the correct location.  The F22 external weapons mod includes another copy of it with instructions to put it in the same place.  More importantly, it includes an entry.lua for the F22 that doesn't load the copy in the F22 folder.

  • Nightstorm changed the title to CFT_Mod_2.0.4A and 2.0.4B

Updated to v2.0.4 with working ECM.  An additional ECM pylon has been added allowing all of the previous options plus the ability to add ECM.  The new pylon is between the AUX and GND pylons with GND being moved to pylon 16.

To accomplish this, the ALQ-184 model is replaced with an invisible EDM.  That means that with that model in place no ALQ-184 will be visible on any aircraft.

There are two script files in the root folder to restore the stock model or install the mod version.

*EDIT* Removed the LANTIRN as there's really no need for it.  If you want to "cheat" and have ECM on the Block 50 just add the same one as you would for the tail extensions.

I've also incorporated the textures into a zipfile.  I've also adjusted the code for the in cockpit loadout screen so that the smaller selection windows ONLY appear for the Viper.  They will be normal size for all other aircraft.  The smaller size was required to get so many pylons (16 in all) on screen.

All files updated with same links.

I'm also trying to contact the LAHAK SUFA team to get ECM working on the F-16I.

  • Nightstorm changed the title to CFT_Mod_3.0.0

Major version change yesterday evening.  See first post for changes.  The main change is integration of the F-16I from the former Lahak mod and laying the groundwork for "Project F16" led by Vinedog.  The F-16I is now up to date with the current OB.  It has working ECM and the CATM mod.  Future updates will be relatively easy, and I didn't encrypt anything.  So, if for some reason I'm unable to maintain the mods (nothing planned), someone else can pick up where I left off.  I've still tagged all of my changes for ease of editing when compared to the stock files with Notepad++.

Just FYI,

After last DCS update i am unable to load the ALQ-184.

(And ED added the ALQ-184 long version).

Thank you for your work and keep up.

I am a bit confused here, is this version 3.0.1 or 2.0.x? Because I recall I downloaded version 3.0.0 a few days ago.

I didn't change the version number.  I didn't have time last night.  So, I released it under 3.0.0.  The links are in the first post still.

I'm using both at the same time.  Did you see this part on the first post and follow the directions?

*NOTE*  If you're using the F22 enhancement mod you will ALSO need this patch for the F22 mod to avoid a conflict with the CFT mod.

*UPDATE*

I updated the specs on the 9X and the 9X2.  Previously we had no access to the 9X.  Now the progression in performance is a little more noticeable between the 9X, 9X2, 9X2+ and 9X3.

The Viper of course can only use the 9X and the 9X2+.  The others are only useable on FC3 or 3rd party mods like the F22.

The CFT mod is for the Viper module.  I wouldn't expect it would work without it.

Thanks for the reply, i thought i could use it as an AI unit though....
