^^^

"is not functioning properly" does not mean anything and can be everything.. as a start make proper new thread in tech support part of the forums or PC harware... and describe CLEARLY what issues you are having... don't forget to specify your full PC specs and only then might someone start to help...

No longer active in DCS...

Completly screws up windows 7 and graphics with nVidia GTX 285

This application hangs up my computer when I try to run BlackShark. Good responces from the developer on my comments so I guess they fix it. It may of cource be an error on my system but everything else works fine. The application looks great but it needs to work ;)

A mix of humor with helpful.

Not really a helpful link, but more of a humorous one. I came across this a few years ago and it is always good for a laugh, maybe some of you have seen it before.

http://www.datadocktorn.nu/us_frag1.php

And now a few helpful links

http://portforward.com/

Check your open ports, a large list of what ports should be open for many games, they also sell software that will setup the ports for you if you cant.

http://www.displayfusion.com

Multple monitor software

Tools & Information for Geeks and Non-Geeks

http://keepvid.com

Most of us have used this probably. Save videos to view later such as those Blackshark and A10 training videos on you tube.

http://www.effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter/

I use the satndard version, very good video conversion software

http://www.effectmatrix.com/ They also have a lot of freebie software.

http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

I am sure some of you use to go to forums or some website that isnt around anymore. This website aka The WAYBACKMACHINE has websites archived back to 1996. From the website, "Browse through over 150 billion web pages archived from 1996 to a few months ago". So they do have a lot archived.

http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/

As the name says. A new piece of software everyday is given away, some good, some bad.

http://www.rjlpranks.com

More fun stuff. I use to use some of these on friends and relatives

And 2 of my favorite places to buy software and hardware and I am sure they like me. http://www.newegg.com/ and http://www.tigerdirect.com/

http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

This is a great piece of software for making , if you want, HUGE pictures, banners whatever you want. But the downside is it prints the image out on single pieces of paper which then have to be taped together. Need to check out the gallery to get an idea of just how big you can go or what you can do. I can see some of the pictures taken in A10 ending up on walls as big wallpaper with this. :pilotfly:

Forgive me if there are a couple links in here that shouldnt be, I kind of got carried away. :music_whistling:

My old X Top V2 pump unit died a couple of weeks ago. I replaced the pump and single bay resevoir for a new D5 pump and dual bay resevoir and I am most impressed both with a tidiness aspect and performance.

http://www.xs-pc.com/reservoirs/d5-dual-bay-reservoir

Currently running an OC of 3.4Ghz and the hottest core is idling at 37 C running Prime 95 with full load gives 64 C and the D5 vario set at lowest speed setting

So...I’m sure you all gave smoking hot 1080 ti etc type cards in your gaming rigs, but for guys like me, who are cash-strapped, this might be just what you need to bring your DCS game up to VR

Refurbished: MSI Radeon RX 470 MSI RX470 MINER 8G RFB Mining Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-137-298

It’s an 8gb card for $149 and then additional 50% off. That’s a $75 buck card that’s on par with a 1060 and way better at least for me than what I was running (Ryzen 2200g w/no card )

Hope it helps someone!
