ZOMBIE BOMBERS - AI bombers cannot be destroyed

I'm kind of sorry for this bug report, it may be not helpful at all since it will lack reproductibility and debug info (I didn't record the track unfortunately, all I can provide is the tacview file), but I prefer to have it logged in case someone else has seen the same behavior.

Context : The Big Show campaign, mission 1

After the big dogfight, one of the AI Spitfire on it's way RTB got shot multiple times by a Anton, on the tip of the left wing only. It triggered somehow an engine failure, which made the Anton give up the chase (or maybe he was out of ammo).

After the engine seized, the Spitfire began spiralling non stop, without ever losing speed or altitude, while its engine was off.

Faulty unit is Brutus #5, it gets shot at around the 14:10 mark, and begins spiralling shortly after

Specs : i7 6700K / MSI 1070 / 32G RAM / SSD / Rift S / Virpil MongooseT50 / Virpil T50 CM2 Throttle / MFG Crosswind.

All but Viggen, Yak52 & F16

Many players have reported B17s (and possible the other AI bombers) can turn into "zombies" after a certain time. At this point the aircraft will circle/ fly indefinitely and becomes impossible to bring down  -even after the crew has bailed out and despite an7y number of fires and even with all four engines stopped.

I noticed this "zombie" behavior on other planes, notably the Kurst and the Dora (I'm not sure about the Anton). Is any evidence needed (I can grab some screenshots)?

I think these are "correct on lateral position" (maybe need a bit of tweak). But they would be better if they were placed a bit forward.
Those are not engine fire but fuel tanks fire :

Sorry, it's not fixed yet. This picture was taken on Fri. Jan. 29, two days after the patch.

The bomber is just floating at 21964 ft. at 90 kts. Well below stall speed, but it won't go down.

I'm seeing it on a regular basis on the current OB, Channel map, only with K-4s. Antons and Doras go down for the most part (after emptying all my ammo into them), but the K-4s orbit upside down or on fire forever. For what it's worth, the specific K-4s that seem to do it more often than others are set to CAS with the following advanced waypoint actions:

 

1. Reaction to Threat=EVADE FIRE

2. ROE=ONLY DESIGNATED

3. Restrict Jettision=ON

4. RTB on out of ammo=Unguided

5.RTB on Bingo Fuel=ON

 

K-4s tasked with CAP and fewer or no advanced waypoint actions don't appear to have as much trouble.

I can add I saw this for almost all warbirds (P47, P51 and Spit too).
Most of time it happen when the AI get shot in vertical. It loose speed and then go backward in strait line to the ground.

I thought it was an AI bad behavior that arrived because AI got updated but not finished.
