So when can we expect the F-15E from Razbam

I may have missed something entirely but when will we be getting the f-15E? I've noticed the updated version of the AI F-15E and was just wondering when we can expect it to be done.

Some of us were expecting a release early this year but it seems that the module was put on hold.

I know most of you are not here for the sappy stuff, so I’ll move right along and let you know what’s happening on the inside. First off you probably already know that a lot of big changes came in the last update from us and the next big one is no exception. Now this is in part due to reassigning some team members from other projects and back onto the ones currently out and flying with you guys. Because of this, a halt was put on serious development of other modules like the Super Tucano and F-15E. The goal is to get all of the modules to a stage where any future issues with bugs or new systems integration can be handled by one person or takes the team a short period of time to deviate in order to correct.

Ok i have noticed the completed cockpit on the F-15E unit and the high quality details so I guess they are doing testing to work out the last things. I also think the 2.7 update probably halted their progress IG. they might have had to update the f-15e more to make it compatible with the update

You haven't missed anything. They haven't announced a release date.

This year is still very young, so a release early this year is still possible (albeit unlikely).

Razbam is a small team, but have so many projects,so they are very inefficient,i like the F15E so deeply, but i know that we can not fly it in recent years,or need 10 more years to deal the bugs.

I think this module is dead (again). Clearly if RAZBAM thought of the F15E to its potential, then the Mig19 would be the module “on hold”. Why on earth did they make this choice is beyond me. I’ve been waiting since 2010 for this module to drop. My faith has evaporated into a pipe dream at the moment.

If they aren't able to do it, they should stop it and someone else could make the F-15E. I'm tired of waiting for it! Consistently announcements like "The Strike Eagle is comming to DCS" (When? In another ten years), polls about which UFC we want, and bla bla bla... And what happened? NOTHING!!! No comment from Razbam about the project or something else. Nothing, nada, niente!

In their defense MiG-19 is very likely much easier to finish then an F-15E which has more systems then just about anything it’s age. If you stretched yourself thin you might as well go with the lower hanging fruits.

But they did communicate what's going on (for once). This post clearly states that work on all new modules is on hold until they finish the current ones:

I agree that RB are hilariously overstretched and should not have started hyping up ANY new module in the past few years, and that all the stuff they've been promising has next to no chance to show up any time soon, but for once a) they have communicated clearly and b) they are actually doing the right thing, and completing their current projects (or trying to) before jumping over the next shiny thing.

And yes as F-2 said, if they can't find the resources to fix e.g the ADF in the Mig-19, there's no reason in trying to code all the stuff the SE has.

Please let them finish their current modules first. There is no point in throwing out even more unifinished modules...

I didn't say they should not finish their current modules (although some of the current model and new projects started long after the Eagle was announced and the Eagle was on hold again, every time they decided to do anything other), but what comes next? Another new module, like the Mig-19, the Mig-23 or the Lightning were? The Eagle was one of the first modules that were announced, long before the others, so I think we should at least know if it will ever see the light of day. At the moment it didn't look like that and as long as Razbam states they will do it, no other developer will make it, even if they have an interest in it. We have this situation now for a really long time and all I wanted to know is how the roadmap for the Eagle looks like or if we could take it to the graveyard for the next decade or so.

I guess you have not heard ofthe Super Tucano, Pucara, Sea Harrier and Bo-105 which RAZBA is working on as well

And the AMX, and the OV-10, and the Mirage 3, and the Super Etendard, and the Canberra, and the Mirage 2000-5, and the AV/8B+, and the Mig-19S (and I think they showed 3d models of the F-100 and F-102 somewhat recently? It's hard to keep track...)...supposedly most will be AI assets first of course and only become full modules "later", but it's not like RB release a new AI model every few months.

Adding everything up that comes out to about 15 aircraft that they want to turn into modules at some point. If we optimistically assume it takes 2 years to release a new module, RB have enough projects going for the next 30 years or so. Whether that clearly answers the question "what comes next?" is up to you 😛

Yes, that's the exact point! That's why I ask what comes next. I hope it is the Eagle and the work is focusing on it, after the Harrier, the MIG-19 and the Mirage are really finished. It was one of their first modules they announced and a module many guys are waiting for years now. If they want to do 20 other modules before, cause the Eagle is a way to compex to do for them at the moment (or at anytime), they should admit that they simply fear to do it and leave it, so anyone else can do it.

This bird is really to important to miss it the next ten years or have it in a poor condition.

This again?! Wasn't everything already said on the German forum? Let them do the right thing. Let Razbam finish up the already released and paid for modules.
You can complain all you want after they sold you the Strike Eagle and it didn't meet your expectations. But complaining because you don't have something, you haven't paid for, is really wasted energy. Please use that energy to do some actual flying with any of the numerous modules at your disposal. You might even have fun.
