Razbam is a small team, but have so many projects,so they are very inefficient,i like the F15E so deeply, but i know that we can not fly it in recent years,or need 10 more years to deal the bugs.

Luckily you know nothing 😁

I think there might be a valid reason behind Razbam delaying the systems development for their aircraft, simply because in the next few months there will be massive changes to the DCS core which means that they might have to redo a lot of the work they have done for the current version of DCS in a few months again (think of 2.7 update, VulkanAPI, etc..). So might be that they are staging the modules as much as they can for release and then when the major changes are in, they will put that effort in. Just an idea 🙂

Oh yes, this must also be the valid reason for the last 9 years, since the Eagle is announced. Come on, we will never see this bird! The only thing we see about it, are some nice cockpit pictures of the 3D model since years and the recurrent message that it is on hold again.

@Viper1970 i think you didnt quite get my point. My point was that it might be a valid reason NOW / at this point in time to delay development items that will drastically change the core of DCS and therefore will require a lot of extra work when the major changes to the DCS core are done.

I think the Eagle is the module they should have to focus their work on, cause it's the oldest module that was announced, even long before the Harrier. It's ok that they fix the problems with already existing modules before they work on anything else, but why have they released a MIG-19 and now started a MIG-23 and also a Lightning, instead of working on the Strike Eagle they announced since years? What comes next before they really work on the Mudhen? I doubt we will ever see an F-15E from Razbam. This is the constant "on hold" module and nothing else.

One of the reason why they keep starting mew project js that they have much more 3D and 2D artists in their team than coders. And the only way to keep them busy is starting new projects, while the few coder are already struggling finishing the current modules.

But this makes things even worse. They always announce new modules, people are waiting for and they never become reality. I think they should do one thing and this one good, instead of promise many things which never come true. At the end they won't be doing themselfes a favour. Maybe they should look for new coders instead of starting one fictitious project after the other.

They probably work with external 3d artists for some of their work, like Metal2Mesh. It would make more senses.

Does not sound promising.

I will only believe anything about the RB F-15E at the moment it is available in EA. Heard those "work at the Eagle has restarted" messages so often, I do not believe them anymore.

At the moment they post something about the Tucano on FB, which possibly will also done before any real work at the Mudhen starts. So we have the Mig-23, the Lightning, the Tucano and only God knows what else, before they will do any real coding at the Eagle.

We know from the forum sections that the next three products will be South Atlantic, F-15E and Mig-23. You can read into information/teasers released that South Atlantic and F-15E will be the next two products.

My guess: South Atlantic - late 2021 to early 2022, F-15E - mid 2022 to early 2023.

On March 2nd Razbam put a pic of the F-15E up on there facebook page that said "Strictly work in progress" so hopefully they are full steam ahead on it. And we will get more info on it sooner rather then later. 🙃

Probably just an old photo they had in archives to try and keep investors happy.. lol
