Hi.

The INS drift way too much after the last upddate + hotfix, arround 10 times according to my test.

What I did:

Perform start up from cold with class 1 alignement.

Take off and go to the waypoint

Note the position of the waypoint

Wait 6 min (1/10 of hour)

Note the new position of the waypoint

The INS is supposed to drift 1 nm/hour in class 1 so 0.1Nm (arround 600ft) each 6 min. But currently, it drift arround 1Nm each 6 min so 10Nm/hours!!

First pass on waypoint

Hasn't that been the case before? I already noticed that drift was way higher than 1nm/ hour. Never took time to do any measuring though. Keep in mind that the more you fly aggressively, the more drift will occur.

By the way, there is no class 1 alignment, it's just class 2/3/4 or full alignment 😉. Just nipticking😁

Until a razbam Fix update, I back in ALIGN mode and switch to NAV again to use INS Update (RECalibrage) with radar or when I fly above waypoint ground position (F10 map help). If I not back in align mode, I can't use rec in both way to make an INS update position, the REC indicator does not light up and it doesn't work.

I hope to be clear, im french, so sorry for my english

The whole "clock" of the system seems be fast be a factor of 10.

Alignment takes 0.8 minutes (exactly 48 seconds) instead of 8.0 minutes. The align/pret messages flash about 10x faster (at 1/8x time it seems normal as before).

I've seen the same and decided to switch back to the previous open beta version. Mostly because the Red Flag campaign had issues in the latest open beta.
