That looks really good.  The buttons and switches seem well thought out and exudes the multi-purpose vibe.  Any detent option?  I could see those extra axis levers being used as land gear or hook or flaps (F-14).

One thing that worries me a bit is the cable under the throttle.

It has to be high grade bendable cable or i foresee problems.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I hope they consider the fact that it might (or will) wear off with time and make the cables easily replaceable.

 

I was hoping for a more integrated solution where the throttle arms would have electrical cables or traces integrated and there would just be some exposed contacts that the traces on the handles would align against.

Depending on how easy the swaps are, I'm totally buying it. Be nice if they did a Russian style one too and an F14 one, though the F18 grips kinda works ok for the 14, I always prefer having the original switchology.

Or easy enough to replace too. I.e. just make the inside quick attach as well and sell spares.
