Extremely Bad VR Performance after Mission Reload

I'm using a Reverb G2 with a RTX3070 Graphics Card and 32 GB RAM. When I start DCS World and go straight into a Mission everything is fine, and I can play most of the Time with > 40 fps. The Graph in the SteamVR Overlay is always green with some occasional orange Bars.

But everytime I leave the Mission and restart it from the Screen with the Mission Log, or when going back to Main Menu or Mission Editor and restart the Mission, after returning into the Cockpit I get 10 fps at most, and the SteamVR Graph is completely purple. This Problem is absolutely 100% reproducable on my Rig, and this happpens with every Mission on every Map with every Aircraft or Helicopter I own. So I have to close DCS completely when aborting or finishing a Mission a restart the Program. Then the first Mission I fly is OK again, until I restart it.

The only very strange Exception from this Rule is when I fly a Campaign. Then I can fly one Mission after another without any Frame Drops.

yes, i noticed the same. If i change the aircraft or run another mission, VR performace drops. Then i need to restart the game and everything is running smoothly again. i'm running reverb G1, rtx 3070, r9 3950x, 64GB RAM and 461.40 drivers.

Yap, i noticed the same too ! My Workaround is to Clock my Gpu one time down to factory settings  and back to my Overclock presset. And the frames going in the greens again.

i have noticed the same thing and it also happens in mission sometimes but corrects itself after maybe a minute. I am running steamvr beta but the non public beta version since i was getting frequent crashes. I am using one of the other steamvr beta options. cant remember which and not at my PC now. It fixed the frequent steamvr crashes though.

I was getting exactly that issue with every mission on my old rig with the G2. In my case it seemed to relate to the SteamVR Home environment. I turned it off in SteamVR settings advanced mode and the problem went away.
